2024-07-18

Nearly 500 guests attended the International Conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Q-Service Truck network. Two days full of fun and warmth provided many positive experiences, as well as a huge dose of industry knowledge. The network demonstrated that it is a leader, bringing together the best truck repair specialists within its structure.

May 23–24, 2024: A Historic Milestone for Q-Service Truck

May 23–24, 2024, were permanently recorded in the history of the Q-Service Truck network. On these days, nearly 500 guests from all over Europe gathered in Łódź to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the best truck service network. Among the invited guests were representatives of service centers, suppliers of parts and workshop equipment, as well as Inter Cars managers who oversee the network’s daily development.

"It’s a great joy to be here and celebrate this exceptional anniversary. Most importantly, we are not resting on our laurels – Q-Service Truck has clear goals and a strategy to achieve them. We focus on international expansion and servicing fleets that travel to the farthest corners of Europe. I am confident in the success of this project because we have all the foundations to further develop this concept," said Maciej Oleksowicz, Chairman of the Board of Inter Cars SA.

The first day, Thursday, featured a standard participant integration program. Guests were invited to a city game across the most interesting streets of Łódź. The goal was to introduce the city’s history and break the ice among participants who did not know each other. It was a perfect start! All groups finished the adventure with smiles on their faces, ready to continue integration at the welcome dinner. This took place at EC1 – an exceptional exhibition center in the heart of the city. Guests enjoyed delicious treats, captivating performances, and many other attractions.

Unity is Strength!

The highlight of the event was the International Conference on Friday morning. For nearly three hours, the network’s managers shared plans for concept development, reflected on past achievements, and discussed future opportunities to ensure a bright path ahead. Q-Service Truck partners also took the stage – representatives from Castrol, Prometeon, ZF, Bosch, Mann Filter, Knorr-Bremse, NRF, and Febi – to present products for the truck market and explain the benefits to service centers within the network.

"Q-Service Truck is one of Inter Cars’ key projects, especially in the truck market. Our partners’ support is crucial – they provide the products and knowledge necessary for proper installation. Further network expansion and the goal of uniting at least 500 workshops in the CEE region form the basis of an efficiently operating fleet service concept. This program is already running in Poland and will gradually be implemented in other geographic markets," said Sławomir Rybarczyk, Chairman of the Q-Service Truck Board.

The stage also welcomed participants who had been involved in the network from the very beginning. Paweł Ciok from NSC Truck in Zielonka and Bolesław Rafałko from Albor in Walce are founding members who actively contributed to the network’s development. They shared insights on the project’s inception, motivations, Inter Cars’ support, and current challenges faced by commercial vehicle service providers.

"It’s a fantastic experience. Looking back 25 years, we see how many great things have happened. Initially, there were only seven service centers, each viewing the others with a large dose of distrust. Today, the network unites nearly one hundred companies in Poland and over two hundred across Europe. Its members view each other with trust and respect. We have diverse experiences and enjoy sharing knowledge, which is both rewarding and helpful. I believe this project has a bright future," said Bolesław Rafałko, Chairman of Albor.

"If someone had told me 25 years ago that Q-Service Truck would grow this large, I would never have believed it. Those were completely different times with different vehicles. Inter Cars and the late Kazimierz Neyman played a huge role in establishing and developing the network, which we see thriving today," added Paweł Ciok from NSC Truck.

During the conference, a special guest appeared on stage as a surprise. Witold Kmieciak, a long-time Inter Cars board member and one of Q-Service Truck’s most loyal ambassadors, delivered a fascinating lecture on business success. At the end of the conference, network partners received commemorative statuettes.

Knowledge and Entertainment

Another part of the event was a mini-exhibition, which provided a great opportunity to explore the range of products highlighted by network partners. The booths drew significant interest and served as a bridge between the conference and the following day’s working group sessions organized by country.

These meetings were highly informative and allowed guests to ask questions and receive valuable answers. This time proved truly useful and left participants with many positive impressions.

The final part of the event was the official celebration marking the 25th anniversary, held at the Andels Hotel. Champagne, fun, friendly hugs, and heartfelt smiles from participants filled the evening.

"Twenty-five years – that’s a quarter of a century. This number is impressive. I am very proud to participate in this project and celebrate this wonderful anniversary with everyone. For us at Inter Cars and for service center representatives, Q-Service Truck is much more than work; it is a passion we can share. Partnership, a family-like atmosphere, and valuable business – that’s how we can sum up our network. Thank you to all participants; it is thanks to you that we made this exceptional project a reality!" concluded Sylwia Wysocka, manager responsible for Q-Service Truck network development.
